Indy Burn U8 & U9 Developmental Academy

Indy Burn U8-U9 Developmental Academy keeps a collection of players, both boys and girls, within the age group together as a group as opposed to placing them on individual teams.  Indy Burn Academy does NOT "cut" or "tryout" players and all children that want to play can.  The Academy is being used throughout the United States and the world.  Players stay in pools and may be moved back and forth among game day teams, according to their progress and development throughout the year.  Indy Burn Academy emphasis is on developing players and FUN!  It recognizes that putting these young players in an environment where they will receive more training than matches is more developmentally appropriate.  This approach will allow Indy Burn to keep players in a pool, foster development over winning, and allow these young players to freely play.  Indy Burn Developmental Academy will compete against other Clubs in a variety of formats including Indiana Soccer Association’s Academy, Regional CIYSL/GIRLS league, Champions League, local tournaments and friendly matches.  The four major objectives for the Indy Burn U8-U9 Developmental Academy are to create a better environment (FUN) for player development, coaching education, parent education, and referee development.
