Refs fees are a part
of the "Team Fees" collected and paid out by Team Managers.
Team Managers: calculating Ref fees? Determine how many
home games and check Ref Fees (above) to determine how much you will need to
pay the Refs for each home game and therefore how much to collect from
parents.
U10
teams: PSC and Indy Burn follows IYSA format of play and has a three
man ref crew on U10 games. However, PSC uses Club Refs for
u10 AR's and does NOT pay U10 AR's. Thus
collect only enough for pay for the center ref for your home games
(usually 5 for GIRLS and CIYSL leagues). Indy Burn U10 team coach or
manager must seek volunteer "Club Refs" (i.e. parent) for each home
game to help call out of bounds (no offside at this age).
U9 Academy teams: Each team is to pay
half of the refs fees for each game (home or away).. Check your game schedule and
check Ref Fees to determine how much you will need to pay the Refs for
each U9 game. Note PSC and most other hosts use only one
paid Center Ref. However, you may wish to be prepared to pay for
half your share of the AR's at other Clubs. For Spring 2008, each
'team' will play 8 games (2 per each of the 4 game days).
